COME WALK IN MY ANCESTORS SHOES OF YESTERDAY

Hello and welcome to my family tree. What is seen here is from many years of hard work by me, my family and from the contributions of others, through correspondence, documents, books and genealogical information found online. This site will be constantly worked on, as new information comes forth and corrections and add-ons assuredly will be made. Names will be added and other names will be dropped. I enter info as I find it, then I work on figuring out the kinks (I work better that way). And there are kinks that will need to be worked on. So do check back to see if any changes have been made. If you are able to help me with the kinks now, rather than me getting to them later, please do. Don't hesitate to give me a holler.

The limbs that move, the eyes that see, These are not entirely me; Dead men and women helped to shape The mold which I do not escape; The words I speak, my written line, These are not uniquely mine. For in my heart and in my will Old ancestors are warring still, Celt,Roman, Saxon, and all the dead From whose rich blood my veins are fed, In aspect, gesture, voices, tone, Flesh of my flesh, bone of my bone; In fields they tilled I plow the sod, I walk the mountain paths they trod; And round my daily steps arise The good and bad of those I comprise. by English author Richard Rolle, written over 600 years ago.

Getting Around
There are several ways to browse the family tree. The Tree View graphically shows the relationship of selected person to their kin. The Family View shows the person you have selected in the center, with his/her photo on the left and notes on the right. Above are the father and mother and below are the children. The Ancestor Chart shows the person you have selected in the left, with the photograph above and children below. On the right are the parents, grandparents and great-grandparents. The Descendant Chart shows the person you have selected in the left, with the photograph and parents below. On the right are the children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Do you know who your second cousins are? Try the Kinship Relationships Tool. Your site can generate various Reports for each name in your family tree. You can select a name from the list on the top-right menu bar.

In addition to the charts and reports you have Photo Albums, the Events list and the Relationships tool. Family photographs are organized in the Photo Index. Each Album's photographs are accompanied by a caption. To enlarge a photograph just click on it. Keep up with the family birthdays and anniversaries in the Events list. Birthdays and Anniversaries of living persons are listed by month. Want to know how you are related to anybody ? Check out the Relationships tool.
